Wessex Consort and the St. Augustine choir: a Renaissance music service
Wessex Consort will perform Renaissance music on recorder consorts (4' and 8' consorts) for the prelude, postlude and along with the choir of St. Augustine, directed by Mike Raleigh, for the service of the third Sunday after Epiphany. Palestrina's Sicut Cervus and Thomas Tallis's If Ye Love Me are featured with the choir, and instrumental works by Tallis, Thompkins, Isaac, Calvisius, Messaus, and Praetorius.
